Job summary

Pertemps Bond in Clevedon, North Somerset, is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer to head the manufacturing engineering team and drive projects from concept to production. The role focuses on NPI, manufacturing readiness, industrialisation and continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with Design Engineering, Operations, Quality and Supply Chain to ensure products can be manufactured effectively, on time and to the required standard.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience leading and mentoring engineers.
• Experience delivering NPI and manufacturing projects.
• Knowledge of industrialisation and manufacturing readiness.
• Experience with Lean methods (6S, Kaizen, PFMEA, VSM, TPM).
• Good project management and problem-solving skills.

Lead Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Clevedon, North Somerset
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Bonus

The Role
We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to take a lead role within the manufacturing engineering team.
You will lead a team of Project Manufacturing Engineers and oversee projects from engineering through to production, with a focus on NPI, manufacturing readiness, industrialisation and continuous improvement.
The role involves working closely with Design Engineering, Operations, Quality and Supply Chain to make sure new and existing products can be manufactured effectively, on time and to the required standard.
