Job summary

Technical Network Recruitment seeks a Maintenance Engineer for a fast-paced manufacturing/food production environment in Wales, UK. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and assist with installation and relocation of machinery.

Role requires strong leadership, Health and Safety focus, and experience with food process equipment. Collaboration with technical teams and contractors is essential to maintain safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing/production, preferably in food or beverage.
• Senior leadership across production, Health and Safety, Quality and NPD.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Respond to emergency machine breakdowns across the factory.
• Assist with new design, installation and movements of existing machines.
• Overhaul and repair of machines to keep them safe and efficient.
• Promote and supervise health and safety practices on site.
• Coordinate with technical team and contractors as required.
• Review engineering requirements and drawings; advise on feasibility and improvements.
