Job summary

Avondale Foods in the UK is recruiting a F3 Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance activities in the F3 production area, ensuring equipment reliability, efficiency, safety compliance and continuous improvement. You will oversee preventative and reactive maintenance, manage the maintenance team and contractors, and collaborate with production, engineering, quality and health & safety teams.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on knowledge of mechanical, electrical and automation

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and maintenance compliance standards.
• Experience using CMMS or maintenance management systems.
• Budget management and contractor relationship experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead planned, preventive and reactive maintenance within the F3 area.
• Ensure plant machinery and facilities meet operational and safety standards.
• Develop maintenance strategies to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and drive corrective actions.
• Oversee root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain maintenance records using CMMS and reports.
• Lead and develop the maintenance team and conduct performance reviews.
• Coordinate team schedules, holidays and contractor activities.
• Foster a high-performance, safety-conscious culture.
• Collaborate with engineering and production on improvements.
