Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (FMCG) in Aberystwyth, Wales, to join a well-established food manufacturing company. The role focuses on electrical/mechanical maintenance of heavy production machinery, with a day-based shift and a 4 on 4 off rotation.

You will be part of a site-based team, ensuring preventative and reactive maintenance meets health and food safety standards, while supporting uptime and production targets.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified Maintenance Engineer/ Multi-Skilled Engineer from an FMCG or similar background.
• Experienced in maintenance of heavy machinery and equipment.
• Lives in a commutable distance, or willing to relocate to Aberystwyth.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day preventative and reactive maintenance and repairs of production equipment and plant maintenance.
• Work within health and food safety guidelines to maximise production and minimise downtime.
• Contribute to a motivated and passionate maintenance team on-site.
