Job summary

Asda is seeking a Lead Engineer for M365 to drive optimization of the Microsoft 365 investment, enhancing efficiency, performance, resilience and user adoption. You will lead across the M365 engineering function in a hybrid setup, engaging with stakeholders to deliver enterprise-level implementations.

The role requires leadership to shape strategy, collaborate with partners, and ensure secure, high-quality solutions, while mentoring peers and coordinating with related teams.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering M365 in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Teams, Office, SharePoint, and modern workplace solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and collect business requirements to express goals for target user roles.
• Manage tech vendors and ensure product roadmaps.
• Ensure secure, stable infrastructure with best security practices.
• Regular capacity reviews and alignment with business growth.
• Lead and mentor junior team members and promote best practices.
• Draft policies and procedures to meet principles and external requirements.
