Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd. is seeking a Lead Engineer for Microsoft 365 to drive optimization of M365 investment, improve efficiency, performance, resilience, and user adoption.

You will collaborate with Solution Architects, Project Managers and broader business groups to deliver enterprise-level M365 implementations and changes. The role sits in Infrastructure Engineering, with close alignment to EUC and Cloud Platform Services, and includes on-call escalation duties.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge across the M365 suite with strategic and tactical capacity.

Responsibilities

• Identify and collect business requirements using interviews, analysis, workshops and workflow analysis to express requirements as goals and target user roles.
• Work with vendors to ensure road maps for products.
• Ensure secure and stable infrastructure by regular reviews and adherence to security practices.
• Conduct capacity management and collaborate with business to manage growth.
• Act as lead technical colleague, guiding junior team members and promoting best practices.
• Contribute to drafting policies, procedures and guidelines to meet key principles and compliance requirements.
