Job summary

WPP is seeking a Lead M365 Architect within WPP Enterprise Technology in Greater London. You will own the M365 architecture, standards, and engineering roadmap, and lead a team of architects and engineers to deliver complex migrations and secure, compliant designs.

You'll partner with vendors and internal stakeholders, set design authority, and ensure solutions meet WPP security and resilience standards. The role offers a hybrid work model and opportunities to shape enterprise-scale Microsoft

Qualifications

• Expert M365 architecture and engineering (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Copilot, Copilot Studio, PowerApp/Automate, Power BI/Fabric, Defender and Purview).
• Knowledge of enterprise identity platforms (Okta) and integration with M365 workloads; ability to guide CA, authentication flows, hybrid connectivity and Zero Trust.
• Experience with large-scale tenant migrations (100,000+ seats) and design using ShareGate or native tools.
• Proven ability to produce architecture docs (HLD/LLD) and ADRs; architecture governance with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Own the M365 architecture, standards and engineering roadmap.
• Lead and manage the M365 architects and senior engineers.
• Design and assure complex M365 change and migrations.
• Ensure partner-delivered designs meet WPP security and standards.
• Embed security, resilience and compliance by design.
• Provide senior technical escalation above the run layer.
• Set architecture patterns and guardrails for implementation.
• Approve partner architecture decisions.
