Job summary

Tesco Technology is seeking a senior systems engineer to lead the design, delivery and evolution of collaboration and productivity platforms. The role owns strategy and executes roadmaps for Microsoft 365, collaboration services, and GenAI capabilities, shaping solutions from concept to handover.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex collaboration platforms in large enterprises.
• Hands-on and architectural expertise across Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, Copilot).
• Strong understanding of identity, security, compliance, and data protection in Microsoft cloud ecosystems.
• Proven ability to manage technology lifecycles, vendor relationships, and commercial trade-offs.
• Excellent communication to influence senior stakeholders and partner with architects, PMs, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Own the architectural strategy and roadmap for collaboration and productivity platforms.
• Design and deliver new technologies and platform enhancements from conception to operations.
• Act as the senior engineering authority for collaboration technologies across Tesco Technology.
• Influence product and vendor roadmaps, contributing to business cases.
• Ensure services are secure, resilient, scalable, and operable with built-in automation.
• Coach and mentor engineers to uphold engineering standards.
