Job summary

ASDA is recruiting a Lead Engineer for M365 within its Infrastructure Engineering group in the UK. The role focuses on optimizing M365 investments, improving performance, resilience, and adoption across the business.

You will collaborate with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and broader teams to deliver enterprise-level M365 implementations and changes. The role sits in Infrastructure Engineering, working with EUC, Compute, Network, and other teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with M365 apps (Teams, Office, SharePoint) in designing and supporting modern workplace solutions.
• Knowledge of ITIL/Service Management processes and tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong time management and self-motivation to deliver priorities.

Responsibilities

• Identify business requirements using interviews, analysis, and workshops to define user goals.
• Manage vendors and ensure product roadmaps are aligned with strategy.
• Ensure secure, stable, and scalable infrastructure following best practices.
• Conduct capacity planning and collaborate with business to manage growth.
• Lead and guide colleagues, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Contribute to policies, procedures, and guidelines within your domain.
