Job summary

Parsonage Grill, part of The Old Parsonage Hotel in Oxford, seeks an experienced Sous Chef to join the kitchen team. You will work with the Head Chef to maintain the restaurant’s high standards and to ensure efficient, timely operation while mentoring staff and delivering outstanding British cuisine.

Ideal candidates have 5-star luxury experience and at least two Rosette-level credentials, with strong written English and IT literacy, plus knowledge of health, fire safety, and allergens

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within a 5-star luxury environment.
• Minimum 2 Rosette-level experience.
• Strong leadership, coaching and teamwork capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen operations alongside Head Chef.
• Ensure consistency and high standards of the restaurant.
• Lead, inspire and motivate kitchen staff to perform.
