Job summary

South Gloucestershire & Stroud College, Stroud Campus, is seeking an enthusiastic LSW Coordinator to lead a dedicated team within the Additional Learning Support unit. You will work closely with curriculum teams to ensure learners receive outstanding support, enabling them to thrive and reach their full potential.

The role is permanent, full-time (37 hours per week) with a salary up to £29,553, and offers opportunities for professional development and inclusive practices within a supportive

Qualifications

• Line management experience or leading a team.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills including timetabling.
• Knowledge or experience of supporting learners with SEND and/or vulnerable young people and adults.
• GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and support a team of approximately 25 Support Workers, including appraisals and staff development.
• Coordinate and maintain support timetables, responding to curriculum and learner needs.
• Monitor and improve quality of learner support through observations and feedback.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping, tracking and audit compliance with funding and quality teams.
