Job summary

Artis HR is supporting a Bristol-based organisation with an exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development Manager. This is a newly dedicated L&D position to lead how learning is delivered across the business.

You'll own the full L&D cycle, partnering with managers and the People team to turn business needs into meaningful learning opportunities. The role includes designing programmes, induction, mentoring and measuring impact, with scope to maximise apprenticeship funding.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing and implementing learning programmes from start to finish.
• Ability to design engaging training resources and learning materials.
• Experience evaluating training effectiveness and measuring outcomes.
• Strong coordination of induction, management development and mentoring programmes.

Responsibilities

• Identify training needs across the business and develop a company-wide L&D approach.
• Design and deliver training programmes, resources and materials.
• Develop induction, management development and mentoring programmes.
• Support managers to identify learning needs and deliver effective training.
• Coordinate mandatory compliance and safeguarding training and maintain records.
• Manage the e-learning platform and keep content up to date.
• Measure impact of training and develop reporting to inform future programmes.
• Explore opportunities to maximise apprenticeship levy funding and workforce development.
• Manage external training providers and the L&D budget to ensure value.
