Job summary

The Crown Prosecution Service in England and Wales is seeking a Lead Corporate Knowledge and Information Manager to ensure compliance with data standards and relevant legislation. You will lead information governance, oversee data collection and organization, and promote a proactive data-handling culture across the department.

You will ensure staff understand their data obligations and implement effective information management practices to support the core mission of delivering justice.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR.
• Knowledge of Public Records Act and FOI Act is desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate knowledge and information management across England and Wales to meet data standards and government requirements.
• Ensure information is collected, managed and organised effectively across the department.
• Promote a proactive information management culture and ensure staff understand their data handling obligations.
