Qualifications

• Experience leading data governance initiatives across public sector or cross-government contexts.
• Knowledge of data protection and data privacy requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with Cabinet Office Data Protection team and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adoption of the programme's cross-organisational data governance framework with Cabinet Office Data Protection team and Public Digital.
• Develop and manage additional data governance frameworks, policies, and agreements with stakeholders.
• Set and promote a data privacy-first approach to minimize data risk.
• Establish and oversee the programme's data infrastructure.
• Identify and manage data risks and issues for the programme.
• Explore solutions to governance issues aligning with Cabinet Office policies.
