The Lead Data Governance Manager role sits within the PSR TL&G team, driving data governance, protection and privacy across government and partners. The role requires collaboration with local and central government, and a focus on aligning governance with Cabinet Office standards. Based in Glasgow with potential UK travel.

You will guide data risk management, support the Grow strand, and promote a data governance-first culture across programmes and external partners.

Qualificações

• Experience leading data governance initiatives across government
• Knowledge of Cabinet Office Data Protection policies
• Ability to translate policy into practical governance practices

Responsabilidades

• Lead the adoption and implementation of the programme's cross-organisational data governance framework, coordinating with Cabinet Office Data Protection and Public Digital (PD)
• Develop, implement and manage additional data governance policies, standards and agreements with stakeholders
• Set principles for a data privacy-first approach to minimise data risk across the programme
• Establish and oversee the programme’s data infrastructure and data risk management
• Communicate governance issues to senior stakeholders and the Grow team, ensuring alignment with policies
