Job summary

Away Resorts in the New Forest is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Leader to coach a busy BOH team, uphold exacting standards, and drive fast, high-volume service from 9am to 9pm.

You will manage stock, control margins, implement health and safety policies, and develop staff through coaching and on-the-job training. Holidays and weekends require flexibility in a vibrant holiday park setting.

Qualifications

• Level Two Hygiene Certificate
• Experience of working as a chef in a busy, fast-paced kitchen
• Experience of stock control and ordering
• Exceptional communication and organisational skills
• An eye for detail and able to think on your feet
• Resilience under pressure

Responsibilities

• Oversee back of house operations on shift and act as main on-shift contact
• Prepare and cook meals with Line Chefs and Kitchen Assistants to exacting specifications
• Help control food margins through stock management
• Champion health & safety and hygiene policies for staff and guests
• Identify development needs and coach team members
