Job summary

Park Holidays UK is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen team and ensure smooth, high-quality operations across our holiday parks. You will oversee food preparation, hygiene, and budgeting while collaborating with leadership to develop seasonal menus.

The role requires a passion for quality, strong teamwork, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven cooking and kitchen management experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to work with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure during busy periods.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee opening and closing of the kitchen to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor stock levels and liaise with managers to maintain inventory.
• Ensure food preparation, cooking, and presentation meet company standards.
• Uphold BOH procedures and food safety/hygiene standards.
• Lead hygiene standards to meet cook-chill requirements and admin related procedures.
• Collaborate with Food and Beverage Director on menus within budget.
• Manage kitchen budget and control resources to hit financial targets.
• Lead, motivate, and train kitchen staff to uphold standards.
