Job summary

Manpower UK partners with a luxury automotive manufacturer to recruit a Lead Inventory Analyst based in Gaydon. You will own inventory governance, stock accuracy, data analysis, and inventory optimisation across a complex manufacturing operation, ensuring production continuity and driving efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control, inventory management, supply chain planning, logistics operations, or related discipline within manufacturing or distribution.
• ERP/MRP systems experience (SAP, Infor LN, Oracle) and ability to manage large data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel; ability to communicate complex information to stakeholders.
• Experience managing inventory KPIs such as stock accuracy, inventory performance, transactions, and reporting.
• Structured problem solving using 8D, 5 Why, Root Cause Analysis, and Ishikawa diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory control activities and data integrity to support business decisions.
• Oversee inventory performance across multiple locations with accurate stock reporting.
• Support cycle counting, stock ageing, storage utilisation, and audit readiness.
• Analyse inventory trends, and stock movements to optimise levels and working capital.
• Create reports, presentations, and management updates for senior leadership.
