Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Warehouse & Inventory Specialist for the SMS Manufacturing facility in Stafford, UK. You will manage a small team, ensure safe storage of components, and maintain accurate warehouse records to support continuous production.

The role requires strong materials and people management, organizational and analytical skills, and SAP ERP experience. You will collaborate with procurement to mitigate stock risks and drive KPI targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field preferred; or equivalent experience.
• Experience using SAP ERP and data to influence decisions.
• Supply Chain experience with team management and leadership.
• Excellent coaching and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Organize workload to meet business demands and targets.
• Manage a team across Warehouse and Main Storage facilities.
• Ensure materials are available to enable continuous production.
• Review shortages vs. production schedule and coordinate with procurement.
• Co-ordinate cycle counting and stock take procedures.
• Lead material variance investigations using 8D methodologies.
