Job summary

Jobtailor in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Integration Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable integrations across systems, APIs and data flows.

You will set patterns, governance and best practices, mentor engineers and collaborate with architects, product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust integration solutions that meet performance, security and observability standards.

Qualifications

• Contribute to technical strategy, architectural decisions and continuous improvement of integration capability.

• Understanding of scalable, resilient and loosely coupled system integration architectures


• Knowledge of API management, interface contracts, schemas and service interoperability


• Experience with integration patterns, messaging and distributed systems


• Experience in operational support, monitoring, troubleshooting and incident resolution


• Ability to design error handling, retry and replay mechanisms


• Experience working across complex technology estates with multiple source and consuming systems


• Knowledge of software engineering principles including clean code, testing, version control and CI/CD


• Technical documentation skills and ability to communicate complex integration concepts to stakeholders
