Job summary

John Sisk & Son is seeking a Senior Planner to lead the planning function for the UK Infrastructure Business Unit on a Leeds-based scheme. You will establish the baseline programme, ensure full logic linking and critical path, and develop a consistent approach across preconstruction and construction phases.

You will produce regular progress reports for the group board and manage risk and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Requires relevant degree/diploma and construction management qualifications.
• Membership of professional body is advantageous.
• Certification for planning software use preferred.]

• Lead baseline contract programme development with full logic and critical path.
• Prepare tender event programme for subcontractor procurement.
• Maintain electronic planning files in CDE and produce regular progress reports.
• Develop 4D graphical model or 2D phasing plans as required.
• Engage supply chain to align programme with design, procurement and construction.
• Produce prelim books covering staff resources, logistics and temporary works.
• Identify risks and mitigations for each programme and track float/time risk allowances.
• Provide programme information to management for feedback to group board.
