Job summary

D2 is recruiting an experienced Senior Planner/Planning Manager to join our team on a permanent basis, working on high-profile infrastructure projects across Leeds or York. You'll lead schedule development, reporting, and integration with the planning team, delivering clear, time-sensitive outputs for stakeholders.

The role requires chartered status or progression toward it, strong knowledge of NEC Contracts, Primavera P6, and PowerBI, plus excellent communication across levels.

Qualifications

• Member of a relevant professional body with chartered status (or working towards).
• Ability to communicate the programme to stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience of schedule integration on large multidisciplinary projects.
• Knowledge of/experience in UK infrastructure projects.
• Experience of NEC Contracts.
• Experience of using Primavera P6 and PowerBI.
• Relevant experience in successful scheduling of engineering projects.
• Knowledge of railway investment planning systems.
• Experience with multiple project management scheduling tools & techniques.
• Knowledge of Schedule assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Integrate schedules and reporting with the planning team.
• Simplify complex programmes for reporting purposes.
• Provide innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence to ensure quality outputs.
• Deliver project schedules at various lifecycle stages from first principles and maintain them.
