Job summary

ECS Resource Group seeks a Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Storage in London to own enterprise SAN/NAS platforms with hands-on Dell EMC expertise. The role requires active SC clearance and a willingness to work in a hybrid model (2-3 days onsite).

You will manage provisioning, migrations, and upgrades while automating operations with PowerShell. As a senior contributor, you will collaborate with infrastructure teams to resolve complex storage issues, ensure performance and resilience, and

Qualifications

• Active UK SC security clearance is essential.
• Strong hands-on enterprise storage administration experience.
• Experience managing SAN/NAS environments, including provisioning, troubleshooting and migrations.
• Practical experience with Dell EMC storage technologies.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Knowledge of storage networking, Fibre Channel and Cisco MDS.
• Exposure to Pure Storage, Commvault or Cohesity would be advantageous.
• Experience working within ITIL-controlled enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Managing, configuring and supporting enterprise SAN & NAS storage environments.
• Administering Dell EMC storage technologies, including Isilon, VPLEX, Unity and VxRail.
• Monitoring storage capacity, performance, availability and replication.
• Supporting storage provisioning, migrations and infrastructure upgrades.
• Troubleshooting storage connectivity, hardware and performance issues.
• Developing PowerShell scripts to automate routine administration and reporting.
• Supporting Fibre Channel storage networking and associated infrastructure.
• Working with infrastructure, networking and service delivery teams to resolve technical issues.
• Maintaining technical documentation and following established change management processes.

Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Storage (SC Cleared)

London (Hybrid - 2-3 days per week onsite)

6-Month Contract Up to 475 per day

Are you an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with strong hands-on enterprise storage experience, particularly across Dell EMC and NAS technologies? Do you hold active SC clearance and have experience supporting complex, business-critical infrastructure environments? If so, we want to hear from you.

We're looking for a technically strong Lead Infrastructure Engineer to support a major enterprise technology environment in London. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on storage administration, troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues & working collaboratively with technical teams to maintain performance, resilience and availability.
