LA International is seeking a senior Storage Engineer with active SC clearance to provide 2nd/3rd line support for enterprise storage across Windows, Linux, AIX and Solaris. You will lead migrations and storage transformations, with duties outside standard hours as required.

The role requires hands-on experience with Dell EMC, NetApp and HP storage, Veritas NetBackup, and SAN hardware like Brocade SAN. ITIL processes govern incident/change activity and out-of-hours work may be needed.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of enterprise storage experience at 2nd/3rd line level.
• Strong knowledge of file and block storage technologies.
• Experience with Dell EMC, NetApp and HP storage.
• Experience with Veritas NetBackup and SAN technologies.
• OS exposure across Windows, Linux, AIX and Solaris.

• Implement, configure, maintain and troubleshoot file and block storage technologies.
• Deliver storage migration and transformation activities across Live, Development and Test environments.
• Support Dell EMC storage devices and Unisphere.
• Configure and support Brocade SAN Switches and SANnav.
• Support NetApp and Hewlett Packard Enterprise storage technologies.
• Administer and support Veritas NetBackup.
• Support HBA configuration and multipathing across enterprise server environments.
• Work across Windows, Linux, AIX and Solaris operating systems.
• Diagnose complex storage incidents and provide effective technical resolutions.
• Deliver storage changes in line with ITIL Incident and Change Management processes.
• Support planned out-of-hours migration, transformation and project activities where required.

Storage Engineer

This senior-level position requires strong hands-on enterprise storage experience and flexibility to support project activities outside standard working hours when required.

Storage Engineer Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd and 3rd Line support across enterprise storage environments.
• Implement, configure, maintain and troubleshoot file and block storage technologies.
• Deliver storage migration and transformation activities across Live, Development and Test environments.

Storage Engineer Skills and Experience

• 5-10 years' experience implementing, migrating and supporting enterprise storage technologies at 2nd and 3rd Line level.
• Strong knowledge of file and block storage technologies.
• Strong Dell EMC storage and Unisphere experience.
• Strong Brocade SAN Switch and SANnav knowledge.
• Good NetApp and Hewlett Packard storage experience.
• Experience with enterprise storage migration and transformation projects.
• Veritas NetBackup experience.
• Knowledge of HBA configuration and multipathing.
• Experience supporting storage across Windows and Linux, including RHEL and SLES.
• Knowledge of AIX and Solaris environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of ITIL Service Management, particularly Incident and Change Management.
• Strong teamwork, communication and workload management skills.
