Job summary

STRABAG SE in Manchester is seeking a Lead Information Controller to join the HARP Project at our Manchester Project Office. You will lead the day-to-day information control function, oversee document control, and ensure compliant information exchange across clients, designers and subcontractors.

You will manage a team of Information Controllers, coordinate ProjectWise workflows, maintain registers and metadata, and drive standards in line with ISO 19650 across the Common Data Environment.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in information/document control on major projects.
• Experience coaching and supervising information controllers.
• Proficient with ProjectWise workflows and metadata.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 and CDE practices.
• Ability to coordinate information exchanges with clients and subcontractors.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of Information Control and line-manage the team.
• Allocate and prioritise workloads, monitor capacity and performance.
• Coach, mentor and develop Information Controllers.
• Oversee information lifecycle: receipt, validation, registration, distribution.
• Ensure ProjectWise workflows are followed and governed.
• Perform QA checks on names, classification, revisions and metadata.
• Manage incoming/outgoing information exchanges with stakeholders.
• Act as primary operational contact for Information Control matters.
• Coordinate with Information Management to resolve workflow issues.
• Develop and implement procedures, registers and guides.
• Monitor queues and report performance trends to leadership.
• Support onboarding and training on ProjectWise workflows.
• Maintain audit trails and records for assurance and close-out.
