Job summary

Hippo is seeking a Principal Business Analyst (Identity) to lead strategic identity initiatives for complex client engagements. You will guide discovery, shape product direction, and mentor junior BAs while delivering real-world identity solutions.

You will work with senior stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and delivery partners to turn ambiguity into actionable roadmaps, manage risks, and grow Hippo's Identity practice across bids and delivery.

Qualifications

• Deep domain knowledge in IAM and digital identity.
• Experience with identity types across customer, workforce, and non-human identity.
• Security methods and patterns: MFA, SSO/Federation, RBAC/ABAC, JML, IGA, Zero Trust.
• Familiar with major identity tools and cloud capabilities (Azure/Entra, AWS, Google).

Responsibilities

• Lead Identity discovery, assessment, and delivery across engagements.
• Shape product and service direction, managing scope, backlogs, and risks.
• Build trusted relationships with senior client executives and guide teams to clear options.
• Support bids, proposals, and pre-build assessments for new work.
• Line manage and mentor other BAs to grow Hippo’s Identity capability.
