Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting a Health and Safety Manager for a major infrastructure project in the North East Lincolnshire area. You will own all HSW activities across the project, reporting to the Head of HSW, and lead a team to ensure the highest standards of safety, compliance and continuous improvement.

The role requires significant experience on major construction/infrastructure projects, NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, and strong leadership and communication skills to drive safe delivery and

Qualifications

• Extensive proven experience leading HSW on major construction/infrastructure projects.
• NEBOSH Diploma or NEBOSH Construction Certificate with substantial experience or CIMOSH.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and its application to Design & Build projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of the project's HSW strategy.
• Manage the HSW team and ensure compliance with legislation and client requirements.
• Lead project inspections, audits and assurance activities.
• Act as principal HSW advisor to the Project Director and senior leadership.
• Develop, implement and maintain project-specific HSW management plans and safe systems of work.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses.
• Monitor performance and lead HSW meetings.
• Provide high-quality HSW training to the team.
• Collaborate with construction, engineering and commercial teams to ensure safe project delivery.
