Job summary

Top Tier Talentees is seeking a Consultant Histopathologist for gynecological histology in East Sussex, working across Hastings and Eastbourne NHS sites. The role includes leading Cervical Screening Histology and participating in cancer MDTs.

Applicants must be on the GMC Specialist Register with CCT/CCST or CESR eligibility. The position offers relocation support and a chance to influence a busy, UKAS-accredited cellular pathology department.

Qualifications

• Specialist histopathology expertise with a focus on gynecological histology.
• Experience with multidisciplinary team (MDT) discussions and cancer reporting.
• Proven ability to lead cervical screening histology and related services.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level histopathology services across sites in East Sussex.
• Develop and enhance the gynecological histology service.
• Act as Lead Histopathologist for Cervical Screening Histology.
• Participate in cancer MDTs and maintain double-reporting for cancer cases.
• Collaborate across two acute hospital sites to deliver patient care.
