Kier Group is seeking a Highways & Drainage Design Engineer to join our team across multiple UK locations with hybrid working options. You’ll contribute to delivering complex infrastructure projects from concept to delivery, focusing on safe and buildable designs and temporary works where required.

In this role you’ll lead design teams, support tender activities, conduct technical reviews, and engage with clients and stakeholders to drive value.

Qualifikationen

• Holding IEng Initial Professional Development (or CEng equivalent progress) with relevant experience
• Experienced in highways and drainage design solutions
• Able to manage project responsibilities and lead design teams
• Committed to maintaining professional development and technical excellence
• Collaborative and focused on building effective relationships with clients and stakeholders

Aufgaben

• Leading temporary works design and checking, with a focus on highways and drainage solutions integrated with permanent works design
• Providing tender and bid winning support including outline design schemes, feasibility studies, and innovative solutions
• Conducting technical assessments and reviews of third party designs to ensure compliance with client and Kier requirements
• Managing project delivery including design deliverables, financial aspects, and client relationships under appropriate supervision
• Undertaking site visits, surveys and inspections, attending meetings, and providing technical expertise to support project teams
