Kier Design are seeking a Highways & Drainage Design Engineer to join our team across multiple UK locations. You will work within a busy design consultancy, delivering temporary works design and highway drainage solutions from concept through to delivery.

The role requires IEng progression or CEng equivalent, experience in highways and drainage, and the ability to lead design teams, manage client relations, and support tender activities. Flexible working and attractive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• IEng Initial Professional Development or CEng progress with a relevant institution, or Level 6/7 qualification with experience.
• Experience in highways and drainage design solutions.
• Ability to manage project responsibilities and lead design teams.
• Commitment to professional development and technical excellence.

Responsabilités

• Lead temporary works design and checking, focusing on highways and drainage with permanent works.
• Provide tender and bid support including outline design schemes and feasibility studies.
• Conduct technical assessments and reviews of third party designs for compliance.
• Manage design deliverables, financial aspects and client relationships under supervision.
• Undertake site visits, surveys and inspections, attending meetings and providing technical expertise.
