Kier Group plc. is seeking a Senior Highways & Drainage Engineer to lead temporary works design and the delivery of highway and drainage projects. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, support bids, and build strong client relationships across a wide UK portfolio.

You will contribute to technical excellence and support Kier’s position as a leading design and construction partner, with agile locations across the UK and hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Incorporated member of a professional institution (e.g. IEng MICE) with relevant experience.
• Experience in highways and drainage engineering with demonstrable technical expertise.
• Confident in leading design projects and managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Skilled in temporary works design, checking, and providing technical solutions.
• Able to build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Leading temporary works design and checking with a focus on highways and drainage solutions.
• Providing tender and bid support including outline designs, feasibility studies and value engineering.
• Managing design projects from remit development through to delivery, ensuring technical compliance.
• Leading and organising the workload of engineers and technical staff within the design team.
• Building strong client relationships and representing Kier at project meetings.
