Job summary

GE Vernova in Stafford seeks a Lead Test Development Engineer to design, develop, and implement end-to-end production test solutions for high-voltage applications, bridging hardware and software to ensure safe, reliable equipment.

You will lead tests from Design for Test evaluation through commissioning and operator training, collaborate with global teams and outsourcing partners, and drive compliance with PUWER, WEEE, RoHS, and REACH.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
Strong LabVIEW and embedded software skills.
Advocate Design-for-Test (DfT) principles.
Hands-on with high-voltage testing challenges.
Able to explain complex test requirements clearly.

Responsibilities

Build, design, and implement robust end-to-end production test solutions for high-voltage applications.
Bridge hardware and software by developing test systems that integrate circuitry with software (LabVIEW/embedded).
Ensure safety and compliance with PUWER, WEEE, RoHS, and REACH as a standard of excellence.
Resolve complex issues with fault-finding and debugging as the technical lead.
Lead projects from Design for Test evaluation through commissioning and operator training.
Collaborate with global teams and outsourcing partners to keep test solutions world-class.
