Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Power Systems & Test Engineer for the Marine Power Test Facility in Whetstone, UK. You will lead electrical activities, balance legacy systems with new installations, and drive safety and compliance across the project lifecycle.

The role requires HV authorisation, strong site experience, and the ability to manage complex testing programmes. The position is on-site five days a week at the Whetstone office.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical leadership for the Marine Power Test Facility.
• Balance maintenance of existing infrastructure with installation, commissioning and testing of new power systems and equipment.
• Coordinate complex site activities and safe systems of work as a Senior Authorised Person (SAP).
• Drive process and system improvements to keep the facility at the cutting edge of power and propulsion technology.
• Ensure all work meets safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
