Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join the Hand trauma and rehabilitation team at an advanced level. The role focuses on assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of acute hand trauma and complex hand conditions, in collaboration with orthopaedic and plastic surgery colleagues, and wider MDT.

You will contribute to education, audit and research activities, provide expert clinical leadership,

Competenze

• Hand therapist with expert clinical skills in acute hand trauma.
• Experience in assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management.
• Ability to lead, educate and supervise staff within the hand therapy team.

Mansioni

• Deliver high quality therapy care in a defined clinical area.
• Act as first contact clinician in outpatient trauma and elective clinics.
• Provide expert clinical practice and support to staff.
• Lead evaluation and development of clinical practice.
• Develop evidence base through audit and research activities.
• Collaborate with orthopaedic and plastic surgeons and MDT.
