Job summary

Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust in East Surrey Hospital is seeking a Band 7 Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join a cohesive hand therapy team working with two specialist hand surgeons, extended scope hand therapists, a band 7 hand therapist and rehabilitation technician.

We deliver specialist therapy to patients with musculoskeletal injuries and acquired conditions and develop rehabilitation programmes in one-to-one and group settings, including via digital and virtual

Qualifications

• Evidence of registration with UK professional body for physiotherapy or occupational therapy.
• Band 7 experience or equivalent leadership capability preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive hand therapy to maximise patients’ independence and quality of life.
• Develop rehabilitation programmes for hand injuries in 1:1 and group settings, including via digital/virtual tools.
