Job summary

JN Bentley Ltd invites a proactive Lead Hand to manage a groundworks gang across civil sites, with a strong emphasis on health and safety in the water and civils sector.

You will supervise activities including concreting, drainage, and pipe laying, ensuring productivity and quality while maintaining strict safety standards. A ready-made gang and valid CSCS/CPCS or NPORS NVQ tickets are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a civils/groundworks gang.
• Experience supervising civils projects with productivity and safety focus.
• CSCS, CPCS/NOCN or NPORS with NVQ and relevant plant tickets.
• Site supervision training or equivalent qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a groundworks gang across sites.
• Maintain high productivity, quality and health & safety standards.
• Report to Site Management and ensure crew compliance with site rules.
