Qualifications

A geology/engineering geology/geoscience degree is required.
Chartered status or clear plan to achieve it within an agreed period.
Proven ability to interpret complex ground investigations and develop ground models for infrastructure projects.
Experience across early-stage work, detailed design and construction support.
Strong judgement on ground variability, groundwater, parameters and risk.

Responsibilities

Lead geological interpretation and ground-model development from tender through construction.
Set investigation, testing, monitoring and parameter-selection strategies by project risk.
Own or assure ground-related risk, reports and technical submissions.
Advise commercial teams on risk, scope and further investigation.
Mentor engineers and geologists and improve standards and guidance.
