Job summary

UK Geotechnical Services is seeking a Senior Geologist to lead ground investigation projects across the UK, supervising intrusive works and coordinating drilling crews, subcontractors and site activities. You will log soils/rocks, prepare borehole logs and manage laboratory scheduling.

You will work closely with project managers, laboratories and clients to ensure investigations meet specifications, schedules and standards, while mentoring junior staff and contributing to technical reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Earth Science or related discipline.
• Proven UK ground investigation experience.
• Experience supervising intrusive ground investigation works.
• Strong soil and rock logging capability.
• Knowledge of current geotechnical logging standards.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
