Nexus Careers Group Ltd in London is seeking a Lead Foot Mobile Engineer to join a global facilities management provider on a flagship central-London account. You will lead the mobile maintenance team across Zones 1 and 2 and mentor junior engineers.

The role focuses on PPM and reactive maintenance of AHUs, FCUs, HVAC systems, and electrical infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on safe, compliant site work and effective stakeholder communication.

Formación

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required or preferred.
• Strong multi-skilled maintenance experience in commercial buildings, ideally with an electrical bias.
• 18th Edition (desirable).
• Previous lead, supervisory or senior engineer experience (desirable).
• Willingness to travel across London Zones 1 and 2 on foot or by public transport.

Responsabilidades

• Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on AHUs, FCUs, HVAC systems, pumps and motors.
• Fault-finding on electrical systems, including LV distribution, motor control panels, lighting and small power.
• Acting as the senior engineer in the mobile team, supporting and mentoring other engineers and handling technical escalations.
• Helping to plan and prioritise workloads to meet PPM schedules and reactive response times.
• Overseeing specialist subcontractors on site and ensuring RAMS and safe systems of work are followed.
• Recording jobs accurately on the CAFM system and building strong relationships with building managers and tenants.

Location: Foot mobile, covering London Zones 1 and 2

Salary: £50,000

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday

About the Role

We’re recruiting a Lead Foot Mobile Engineer to join a leading global facilities management provider on a flagship account for one of London’s major property companies. The client’s portfolio is made up of high-quality office and retail buildings across central London, home to a wide range of businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on AHUs, FCUs, HVAC systems, pumps and motors
• Fault-finding on electrical systems, including LV distribution, motor control panels, lighting and small power
• Acting as the senior engineer in the mobile team, supporting and mentoring other engineers and handling technical escalations
• Helping to plan and prioritise workloads to make sure PPM schedules and reactive response times are met
• Overseeing specialist subcontractors on site and making sure RAMS and safe systems of work are followed
