The Vale of Glamorgan Council is seeking an experienced Flying Start Parent Support Manager to lead our dedicated Parent Support Service in Barry and across the Vale.

You will provide operational leadership for the service, manage a multidisciplinary team, ensure trauma-informed, strengths-based support to families, and work with partners across health, education, social care and the voluntary sector to deliver high-quality early intervention and safeguarding outcomes.

Formación

• Significant experience working with children and families.
• Experience supervising, developing and motivating staff.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and risk assessment.
• Understanding of Flying Start and Welsh policy context.

Responsabilidades

• Lead multidisciplinary Parent Support Team to deliver services.
• Drive Flying Start objectives and service development.
• Act as safeguarding lead for the Flying Start multi-agency service.
• Monitor performance and outcomes to inform improvements.
• Manage resources and budgets in line with requirements.
