Job summary

Bridgend County Borough Council is seeking a dedicated Childcare Worker to support two- to three-year-olds within the Flying Start team. The fixed-term, term-time role is based in Sarn, with hours 8:30 am–3:15 pm on two days and 8:30 am–3:30 pm on three days, Monday to Friday.

Salary £20,199 per annum for 32 hours weekly; join a supportive multi-agency environment with opportunities for training and progression. Welsh greeting is required.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 childcare qualification.
• Welsh language greeting is a requirement for this post.
• Experience or understanding of multi-agency working to support families holistically.

What we’re looking for:

Will hold a relevant Level 3 childcare qualification ideally be working towards a level 4 leadership and management qualification as set out in the Social Care Wales qualification Framework for Flying Start.

The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
