Job summary

Burgess Hill Aviation Ltd is seeking a Lead Maintenance Engineer to head up a small team and act as the technical expert for flight simulators and related systems. The role includes maintenance, fault diagnosis, and support to junior technicians in a real-world aerospace environment.

The successful candidate will have an aviation background, experience with simulators or automated systems, and the ability to lead maintenance activities with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Lead maintenance engineer with aviation systems experience.
• Experience with simulators or related automated systems.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair faults on complex equipment.

Responsibilities

• Planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on simulators and systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair system faults.
• Run and check qualification test guide schedules.
• Assist in training junior technicians.
• Work Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00.
