Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Lead Maintenance Engineer (Flight Simulators) in Burgess Hill. You will head up a small team, acting as the technical expert for maintenance on simulators and related systems.

The role offers £50,000 - £60,000 plus 4 on 4 off shifts, training, progression and extensive benefits. You will perform planned, preventative and reactive maintenance, diagnose and repair faults, run qualification test schedules and train junior technicians in a fast-growing

Qualifications

• Experience as Lead Maintenance Engineer or similar in aviation.
• Experience with simulators or related automated systems.
• Ability to lead and train junior technicians.

Are you a Lead Maintenance Engineer or similar, from an aviation background, looking to head up a small team as the technical expert, within a leading aerospace business?

In this role, you will be responsible for planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on simulators and systems, diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing system faults. You will also run and check qualification test guide schedules alongside working with risk assessments, method statements, COSHH and Lockout/Tagout procedures. Finally, you will assist in training junior technicians.
