Job summary

Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of regulatory rules framework.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in regulatory environment including compliance monitoring and safety management systems.
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with IT packages such as Q-Pulse and BYD.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Flight Operations management team to deliver objectives and set standards.
  • Provide mentoring and coaching to FO colleagues.
  • Manage oversight plan development and governance for the sector.
  • Support prioritisation of non-compliances and ensure timely action by operators.
  • Deliver inspector training courses and develop courseware.
  • Develop training to address regulatory changes and oversight methodologies.
  • Contribute to Risk Picture and SRP when applicable.
  • Process operator exemptions and permissions from legislative requirements.
  • Ensure QC of Operator Approval documents.
