Job summary

Edgbarrow School is seeking a Lead First Aider to respond to medical incidents and support student wellbeing on a term-time basis. You will be the initial contact for injuries and illnesses, working with a dedicated team to safeguard pupils.

Experience in schools and a friendly, proactive approach are essential to provide immediate care and reassurance to students during the school day.

  • Salary: Full time equivalent salary: £30,753 per annum including fringe allowance Actual salary based on weeks and hours advertised: £24,549 per annum including fringe allowance

  • Working Pattern: Full Time/Term Time
  • Hours: 35 hours per week. Monday – Friday, term time only plus 2 Inset days.

We are looking for a Lead First Aider who is able to contribute to the health and medical welfare of students. You will be the first point of contact for any first aid emergencies. You must be a friendly and approachable person who enjoys working with young people and is able to give immediate help to pupils with common injuries and illnesses. First Aid experience is essential for this position and previous experience of working in a school or working with young people is preferred.
