Job summary

Investigo is seeking a hands-on finance professional in Leicester to own month-end reporting, strengthen financial controls and support the integration of overseas finance activities into the UK. The role offers broad exposure across financial accounting, reporting and transformation projects in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualifications with strong technical accounting skills, advanced Excel, and a keen eye for process improvements and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with relevant experience.
• Strong month-end accounting and balance sheet reconciliation experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and large data handling.
• Experience with intercompany accounting and cross-border processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support month-end close activities.
• Prepare and post journals, accruals, prepayments and adjustments.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions.
• Support management reporting and monthly analysis.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams.
• Assist with audit and statutory reporting requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and efficiencies.
• Support finance integration and change initiatives across the business.
