Job summary

The Belfry Hotel & Resort in the Midlands is seeking an experienced Events Bar Manager to lead the hotel’s bar operations for weddings, corporate functions and large celebrations. You will manage a team of up to 30 staff, drive service standards, monitor stock, and work with the Meetings & Events team to deliver memorable guest experiences.

This 45-hour week role offers a base annual salary of £34,000 plus service charge, with opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bar management, preferably in hotel/events.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of stock control, bar operations and budgeting.
• Proactive problem-solving attitude with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of several bars across events.
• Lead, train and motivate a team of bar staff.
• Ensure service standards and health & safety compliance.
• Monitor stock levels and control costs to protect profitability.
• Collaborate with Head of Meeting & Events to implement ideas.
