Job summary

The Belfry Hotel & Resort in Sutton Coldfield is seeking an experienced Events Bar Manager to lead our hotel’s bars for weddings, corporate functions, and large celebrations. You will manage a team of up to 30 staff and oversee daily operations to ensure seamless service.

The role offers 45 hours per week with shifts starting at 12 or 3 pm and five days a week. A base annual salary of £34,000 plus service charge reflects our commitment to excellent guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of several bars across various events.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of bartenders and bar staff.
• Maintain an environment which promotes employee morale and pride.
• Ensure high standards of service and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor stock levels, control costs, and ensure profitability. Be experienced in taking ownership over your department and achieving financial and guest score targets.
• Work with Head of Meeting and Events to establish and implement new ideas and initiatives within the department.
• Work closely with the events team to provide a seamless guest experience.
