Job summary

Alpha Construction Ltd is seeking a qualified Estimator to join the pre-contract team. The role involves preparing tenders and budgets, sourcing quotations, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements.

You will work with the Commercial Director and Contracts Department to develop competitive bids for industrial, energy, and commercial projects across the UK. The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying degree and experience with NEC3/JCT/ICE CESMM standards, and will

• Civil Engineering and/or Quantity Surveying degree required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit tenders and budgets with supporting quotations.
• Supervise junior staff when required.
• Collaborate with Contracts Department to determine construction methods.
• Obtain quotations from subcontractors and suppliers for tender inclusion.
• Ensure tenders comply with Company procedures and client spec.
