Job summary

ACS Construction Group Ltd in our Cheadle office is seeking a skilled Tender Estimator to produce detailed and competitive tenders for projects ranging from £50k to £10m. You will work with the commercial team to prepare estimates, cost plans and tender proposals against tight deadlines.

The role involves liaising with planners, design managers, clients and suppliers, using estimating software including Eque2, and ensuring records comply with internal systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ONC/ D in Construction or civil engineering related discipline.
• Advanced computer proficiency with estimating software.
• Team player with collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage enquiries to supply chain using estimating software.
• Prepare, collect and analyse tenders for comparisons.
• Conduct site visits to assess constraints.
• Abstract tender details for internal reporting.
• Prepare prime cost estimates.
• Meet clients and represent the company.
• Manage Eque2 software and estimating processes.
• Monitor and record cost data.
• Ensure proper records and internal compliance.
